The Divorce Papers by Susan Rieger

Do you have books that have been hanging out on your bookshelf forever and you’ve wondered if you’ll ever get to them? Of course you do...we all do 😆😁 I picked this up a couple years ago on the bargain table at B&N but finally got around to reading it a few days ago. The Divorce Papers by Susan Rieger centers around Sophie, a young criminal law associate who falls into representing the daughter of her firm’s most important client during her divorce. “For Sophie, the whole affair sparks a hard look at her own relationships—not only with her parents, but with colleagues, friends, lovers, and most importantly, herself.” This was fun and funny. I loved that the book is almost entirely made up of memos, legal papers, and emails because I love epistolary novels.
